Privacy Policy

This policy explains what personal data Loreya Label collects, why, and what you can do about it. We handle personal data in line with the UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018.

What we collect

  • Order details β€” name, delivery and billing address, email address, phone number
  • Payment information β€” handled by our payment providers. We never see or store your full card number
  • Account details β€” if you create an account
  • Correspondence β€” the content of messages you send us
  • Technical and usage data β€” IP address, device and browser type, pages visited, collected through cookies

Why we use it, and our lawful basis

  • To fulfil your order β€” processing, dispatch, delivery, returns. Basis: performance of a contract.
  • Customer support β€” answering your enquiries. Basis: contract and legitimate interests.
  • Legal duties β€” tax and transaction records. Basis: legal obligation.
  • Improving the site and preventing fraud. Basis: legitimate interests.
  • Marketing β€” only where you opt in. Basis: consent, withdrawable at any time.

Cookies we use

We use three kinds of cookie:

  • Strictly necessary β€” set by Shopify to keep your basket and your session working. These cannot be switched off without breaking the site.
  • Analytics β€” Google Analytics (Google Ireland Limited), to understand which pages are used and where people get stuck.
  • Advertising and measurement β€” Google Ads and Google Merchant Center (Google Ireland Limited) and the Meta pixel (Meta Platforms Ireland Limited), to measure which adverts lead to a sale and to show relevant adverts.

Analytics and advertising cookies are only set where you have consented. You can change or withdraw consent at any time through the cookie banner, and you can block cookies in your browser settings β€” blocking necessary cookies will stop parts of the site working.

Who we share data with

Only what is necessary, and only with: our ecommerce platform (Shopify); payment processors; delivery and fulfilment partners; email, analytics and advertising providers named above; and professional advisers or authorities where the law requires it. We do not sell your personal data. Where a provider is outside the UK, transfers are covered by adequacy regulations or standard contractual clauses.

How long we keep it

Order and transaction records for seven years, to meet HMRC requirements. Marketing consents until you withdraw them. Support correspondence for up to three years.

Your rights

You may access your data, correct it, have it erased, restrict or object to processing, receive it in a portable format, and withdraw consent. Email support@loreyalabel.com and we will respond within one month.

If you are unhappy with our response you may complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113.

Children

Our website is not intended for children under 16 and we do not knowingly collect their data.
